Yesterday, I met with the ‘lead’ resident in Heyes Drive, following the public meeting I organised there in the summer.  Along with an officer from the Council’s techincal services department, we discussed the problems of getting in and out of Heyes Drive and the ongoing problem of traffic speed on Leasowe Road. 

I’m pleased to report that the Council will be looking at Leasowe Road as a priority as part of a wider review into traffic speeds on our busiest roads.  This is due to start in the new financial year.  I’ll report back when I know more.
