Yesterday, I met with the new Area Housing Manager for WPH and the new estates officer for the Witley/Lyons, Yew Tree and Eastway area of Moreton. This is what we discussed:
- Witley Lyons: extra visits have been agreed to tackle the problem of litter, graffiti and dumping of rubbish
- Saxon Road: the problem tenants at No. 22 have now been ‘removed’ and the property is in the process of being brought back up to a habitable standard
- Almond Place: there is some question over who owns the land where we need the extra bit of fencing to keep the garages at the back secure
- Pasture Road flats: 20 flags in the footway are to be lifted and relaid after complaints to me by an elderly resident
- Ford Hill View: estimates for removing the wall adjacent to the houses have been obtained (around £2,000). The need to disconnect the old Redifussion boxes has yet to be sorted.
