Peter Cranie, not your Green MEP
Sadly, in the race last June for the 8th Euro seat for this region, Peter Cranie of the Green Party narrowly missed out on beating the foul Nick Griffin.
I’ve added a link to Peter Cranie’s blog at the bottom and, while I don’t agree with all he says, I’d rather have him representing me than Griffin.
Meanwhile, I see the anti-BNP website ‘Nothing British about the BNP’ has listed me as a friend of theirs. That’s nice.
Tonight, Sorry, next Thursday, Griffin is on Question Time. The more people who see his lot for what they are, the better.

Hi Ian,
Thanks very much for the kind post. It is painful to see all of us represented by Griffin now, and unfortunately it is a long time before we can remove him via the ballot box.
In the meantime we all have a duty to show that politicians, red, yellow, green or blue, actually deliver for local people, and that the awful alternative of the far right doesn’t grow in strength.
An aside from that – are the Conservatives likely to re-emerge in Liverpool next year in Woolton ward? With the Liberal Democrats making a less than good job of running the city, I would say you have your best opportunity in a long time.
The Greens are just as bad as the BNP. They are anti-capitalist neo-marxist communists while the BNP are no more than White Power Socialists.
Now had youprovided a link to the Libetarian Party, that would have een something
Peter Cranie for Prime Minister
He’ll have to be an MP first
