Pay up Parcel Force
Many of the grass verges around the area are damaged or made to look a mess when vehicles park on them. It’s mainly due to the lack of off-street parking and multiple cars per household.
However, the damage to the grass verge in Rossall Road, next to Eastway School was NOT caused by a resident but a Parcel Force van.
I have been in touch with the Council – their contractor, Continental Landscapes, will repair the grass verge and Parcel Force will be invoiced for the cost of the work.

Why don’t the council offer a service where they will fit one of the eco grid systems into the grass (at cost to the culprits) for high use areas – that way, the grass would not be damaged when grass is occasionally driven on. There is a firm on Dock Rd who sell this stuff at a fairly low cost & it’s really quite simple to fit. Just search the web for Ecogrid.
