I am of no fixed affiliation to any political party and yours was the first to spring to mind when i found myself with an axe to grind so to speak, but only as i only ever see your ‘flyers’ through my door. With regards to the road works carried out on and around Grampian Way. The contractors have indeed made a hash of it and of my house. My floors have been near ruined with Tar residue brought in on my childrens shoes. My hoover is blocking regularly with stone chippings (also tar covered)and i only thank my rule of ‘No shoes’ upstairs that my carpets have not been totally ruined. My downstairs floors are Laminate..so some elbow grease does eventually remove the tar. I would be interested to see if any ‘recompense’ would be forthcoming for the many households that have suffered through the total lack of care of these, dare i say ‘cowboys’. I was told that the cars would take care of the loose chippings by ’squashing’ them into the surface. They do not…they just flick the stones all over the pavements and of course all over the cars that may be parked or passing..total madness!!

If you do have a meeting penciled in with the infamous David Green, could you ask him why Wirral’s roads are in such a bad condition, and why they saw fit to waste £1 million on the traffic lights at Arrowe Park which have done nothing to cut congestion?

Hopefully, you won’t have to be dealing with him for too much longer.
